Augur is looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale the core systems behind our monitoring and automation platform. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, data workflows, and product delivery. You will work across the stack—from data collection and processing pipelines to APIs and dashboards—owning features end-to-end from architecture to deployment. You’ll collaborate closely with our AI and product teams to turn prototypes into robust, production-ready systems that power real-time insights for brands, agencies, and decision-makers.

What You’ll Do

Backend & Systems Development: Develop and maintain backend services powering our monitoring engine, agents, and insight pipelines.
API & Integration Layer: Build stable, well-structured APIs that plug directly into our dashboards and internal tools.
Data Modeling & Workflows: Design and manage data models in PostgreSQL and build efficient workflows using Redis queues.
Data Collection & Automation: Work with crawlers, scrapers, and automation scripts to enable continuous, reliable data collection.
External Integrations: Integrate external data sources such as social platforms, news sites, web agents, and internal extractors.
Deployment & Reliability: Deploy production systems using Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and ensure they remain healthy, performant, and observable.
AI Collaboration: Work closely with the AI team to move prototypes into scalable, maintainable production code.
End-to-End Ownership: Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

What We're Looking For

Additional preferred skills:

1–4 years of experience as a full-stack or backend developer.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js or Python.
Good understanding of APIs, microservices, async workflows, and queues.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and data modeling.
Comfortable with React / Next.js for handling UI tasks when needed.
Experience building or working with web scrapers, crawlers, or automation workflows.
Exposure to agent-based systems or frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
Familiarity with deploying and managing production environments on AWS or GCP, ideally with Docker.
Strong debugging skills and the ability to track down issues across the full stack.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment with a “get it done” mindset.
Experience with real-time dashboards or analytics-heavy products.
Understanding of observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting).
Interest in working closely with AI/ML workflows, even if you’re not an expert.
